Explora-Primary Search is designed for elementary students.  Browse topics of interest or search for a topic of their choice.   Contains elementary school-appropriate magazines, encyclopedias, dictionaries, and images.  No ads.  Here is the list of magazines found in Explora for Primary Schools.

Novelist (in left sidebar choose age level) is an online readers' advisory for readers, teachers, and parents.

Fact Monster has an online Almanac, Encyclopedia and Homework Help for all subjects.
